**If you are settling your account with a credit card, please note a credit card transaction fee will apply. Current fee is 1.5% for Visa/MasterCard/Bankcard and 3.5% for AMEX/Diners. Payments by cash or EFTPOS do not attract transaction fees.

Adaptors are subject to availability. An adaptor can be rented from the front desk.


Baby Facilities

Baby cots are available for hire. Please contact reception to arrange delivery. Dial 9


Baggage Service

Breakages and Damage

All apartments are fully equipped with standard inventory. Please report any breakages, missing items or damaged property on arrival. The cost of replacement or repair on any items broken or damaged is the responsibility of the guest.


Business Services

For a small fee, a complete range of business services are available including courier and mail services, photocopying, facsimile and word processing. Please contact reception. Dial 9


Car Parking

We allow one parking space per unit. Please see car park map provided.


Check Out Time

Check out time is 10:00am. Should you wish to stay a little longer, please contact Reception and every effort will be made to assist you. Late check out charges apply. Should you be leaving prior to 7am on the day of your departure, please contact Reception the day prior to settle any accounts and arrange for key collection.

Dry Cleaning

We offer dry cleaning 5 days a week. Place the completed list in the laundry bag provided in your wardrobe and leave at the Reception desk prior to 8am for collection. Your garments will be available for collection from Reception at approximately 6pm. For additional laundry services outside of the nominated times, please contact reception. Dial 9


Facsimile

A facsimile service is available at Reception. Charges are summarized below:

Garbage Disposal

Large bins are located in the car park. They are emptied twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. If you
have any extra rubbish it would be appreciated if you put it into these bins.


Housekeeping

Should you have any special room servicing requirements such as a nominated time for servicing your apartment, additional blankets, additional coat hangers etc, please contact Reception. Dial 9

Keys

Please remember to take your room key with you at all times and ensure you lock all doors and windows when leaving your apartment for security purposes. Two keys are available per unit. Lost or unreturned keys will attract a fee. There is a security key for the lift attached to the room keys.

Smoking

All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is prohibited and smoke detectors will trigger the fire alarm. The Fire Department can isolate the cause to each individual unit and there will be a fine/penalty imposed as the Fire Department must attend. If you need to smoke in the building then please use ashtrays and do so on the balconies.


Swimming Pools

The pools are open between 6am and 10pm. For everyone’s safety, glass is not permitted in the pool area. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Room Facilities

Air Conditioning

Please ensure that all external doors and windows are kept closed whilst the air conditioning systems are operating. The ideal operating temperature is 22 degrees Celsius. When you leave your apartment please turn off the air conditioners. Rapid cooling will occur on your return. Breakdown of the air conditioning system may occur if they are used inappropriately. So for your indoor comfort, please adhere to this advice.


Balcony

Please do not hang towels, clothing or other items over the balcony. Please consider the guests below by not throwing rubbish or other items over the balcony.


Do Not Disturb

Please place your “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside of your apartment door to ensure your privacy is upheld. Please note: Your room will not be serviced with this in place.


Hairdryer

A hair dryer is located in the ensuite bathroom. If you encounter a problem with your hair dryer please contact Reception and a replacement will be found.


Internet Access

At all Park Regis & Leisure Inn Hotels in Australia, we are delighted to offer our valued customers complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi – a maximum of 5 devices per room. The password for the hotel Wi-Fi will be provided upon check-in at the guest’s request. If you lose the password throughout your stay, please contact reception for further details. Iron & Ironing Board

An iron and ironing board can be found in your apartment.


Kitchen Facilities

1 and 2 bedroom apartments offer a comprehensive kitchen facility. Whilst the operation of the appliances is fairly self-explanatory, please contact Reception should you experience any difficulties. Dial 9 **Please always use your range hood when cooking.** Strictly no cooking in hotel rooms.


Laundry Facilities

For your convenience when using the dryer, please leave the laundry door open at all times. If not, the dryer will overheat and shutdown. If this should occur then let the dryer cool down before pressing the reset button. (Only in 1- and 2-bedroom apartments).


Telephone Charges

Each apartment is fitted with a direct dial telephone. Calls are charged at the following rates:

Townsville Airport is located on the corner of Stinson Avenue and Halifax Street. Allow a 15-minute drive.

Safety & Security

Emergency

For any emergency Fire, Police or Ambulance services, dial 9 – for the Front Office Manager.

Fire

In the event of a fire alarm being activated you should vacate your apartment. There are stairs at each end of the building. Follow the green EXIT signs. Please note; the Fire Department must attend alarms raised in the property. The Fire Department can isolate the cause of an alarm to each individual unit. If guests are found to be responsible for setting off the fire alarms, any resulting charges/fine or penalty incurred from the Fire Department will be charged to the guest. Do not use the elevator. Check the diagram on the back of your apartment door for your nearest exit.

Security

For security reasons, please ensure all doors and windows are locked and closed behind you when entering and leaving your apartment.
